Profile: Katlin has worked hard since her diagnosis at age eight to contribute to the fight against diabetes. She has been awarded six Golden Sneakers, raising more than $1,000 each time personally, and numerous team awards for the six JDRF Walks in which she has participated. She had her school participate in the Walk, and her Girl Scout troop as well.

Profile: When he was diagnosed at 10, Reb’s life changed, but that hasn’t slowed him down. An Eagle Scout, he is also the captain of his school’s wrestling team and is a certified scuba diver. A cure for this disease is important to him because it not only affects him but his older sister as well.
