Profile: At five years old, Elliott was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and can’t remember his life without it. Now eight, he has a continuous glucose monitor and must plan every aspect of his life. He is a an eager and enthusiastic promoter of the fight to cure diabetes. He is a JDRF youth ambassador and helps people learn about diabetes. He has spoken at fundraisers for research toward a cure for type 1.
