I am really excited about going to Children's Congress! I can't wait to meet my legislators and talk with them about how diabetes affects my life day to day. I want them to understand how important finding a cure for diabetes is to my whole family.
I look forward to meeting the legislators and securing more federal funding for diabetes research and a cure. With this increased funding it should be possible to fund beneficial research and new technologies to increase the quality of life for all diabetics.
