Wednesday, July 10—the day that JDRF’s 161 delegates had all waited and prepared for. On the last day of Children’s Congress, the delegates and family members spent the morning in meetings with their Members of Congress. After lunch, they received congratulatory words from Vice President Joe Biden. Last but not least, they attended the Senate Diabetes Hearing.
To say it was an exciting day would be an understatement. But don’t take our word for it. See for yourselves, in our final Children’s Congress Photo Gallery.
