Thousands of children have applied over the years but only 150 are selected for each class of delegates to JDRF's Children's Congress. Early in July, JDRF Advocacy launched the application to the 2011 Children's Congress (CC11), which will be held from June 20 to June 22 of next year.
Today, JDRF Advocacy introduces the CC11 application on Facebook (FB) and a contest associated with the social media site!
As part of this FB roll out, any application submitted during the month of August 2010 using our FB application will be entered into a contest where one application will be randomly selected to by-pass the review process and immediately be awarded a slot to CC11. Keep in mind, that going to CC11 still requires that all applicants be between the age of 4 and 17 on the first day of CC11.
Applications can still be submitted via FB after August 2010, but they will not be eligible for the contest.
If you’re interested in applying to CC11, be sure to do it in August on Facebook! Remember: many will apply and only a few will be chosen, so do every thing you can to increase your chances of being selected to CC11!
